MILWAUKEE - Marion (Groth) Schmal, 87, of Milwaukee, died on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bruno.

She was the dear mother of Barbara Drake of Milwaukee and Janet Schmal of Milwaukee; dear aunt of Brigitte Gabriel and the late Beate Stockdreher. She is further survived by great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation is on Saturday at Three Holy Women Parish - Holy Rosary Church, 2011 N. Oakland Ave., from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, Ill.

Marion graduated from St. Pascal Grade School and St. Benedict Commercial Course in Chicago, Ill. She had been a resident of Johnson Creek for 42 years. She served on the parish council and was president of the Christian Mother's Society at St. Mary Madgalene Catholic Church in Johnson Creek. Marion was the guidance secretary and district secretary bookkeeper for Johnson Creek Public Schools.

For the past seven years, she was a member of Three Holy Women Parish.
