Col. Robert W. Hagerman, a native Chicagoan who was shot down on Nov. 6, 1967, while flying a fighter-bomber over Hanoi, will be buried with military honors March 29 in Sumner, Wash. Col. Hagerman`s remains, turned over to the U.S. government last December, were identified by scientists earlier this month as those of the missing Air Force officer. Col. Hagerman was a Lane Technical High School graduate and attended Wright College before becoming an Air Force cadet. He had been in the service almost 25 years when he was shot down and placed on the list of men missin in action in Southeast Asia. Survivors include his wife, Emma, a native of Chicago who lives in Puyallup, Wash.; four sons Robert, David, William and Daniel; his mother, Clara Blakey; and seven grandchildren.
