Thomas was born in Berea, Kentucky. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rosa Miller, daughter Michelle Miller, twin brother Donald Miller, older brother William Broadus, Jr., older brother Conley Broadus, older brother Sam Broadus, and was preceded in death by his sister Bessie Jean Ballinger. Tom was Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 481, San Diego, CA, and previously worked for the San Diego Zoological Society. He was a Vietnam Veteran in the Seabees. Tom enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, March 14, at 10:00 am at Mission Basilica San Diego De Alcala, 10818 San Diego Mission Road, San Diego, CA., 92108
