Age 70, of Ithaca, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 12, 2018 at the Laurels of Carson City. Paula was born October 28, 1947 in Alma, the daughter of Paul and Thelma (Rumberger) Sischo.
She graduated from Alma High School. On December 11, 1985 she married Gregory Bovee in Ithaca. She was a devout Christian and passed on her faith to her family. Paula was a member of the East Washington United Brethren Church and attended a Bible study fellowship in Lansing. Paula enjoyed her flower gardens, being outdoors, shopping, fishing at the cottage on Houghton Lake, cooking and her dogs, especially Winston.
She is survived by her husband Greg, children Tiffany Cline, Cody (Kassie) Bovee, Troy (Amber) Bovee, Wendy (Michael) Walker, Chad (Mary Lynn) Bovee, Justin (Stephanie) Bovee, 15 grandchildren with one on the way, sister Marilyn Palmer and many nieces and nephews.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Landon Paul Tropp and Shane Tropp, and brother Garland Sischo.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11 am at the East Washington United Brethren Church with Pastor Jeff Reser officiating.
Interment will be in North Star Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home in Alma. Memorials may be made to the East Washington United Brethren Church.
