Harlen B. Blachly
Pratt - Harlen B. Blachly, 76, died Dec. 19, 1982, at Pratt Regional Medical Center, after a long illness. Born Feb. 18, 1896, at Nickerson, he married Nora Crawford May 24, 1931, at Randall. He was a business man and retired Pratt City Clerk and had been a longtime Pratt resident.
He was a member of United Presbyterian Church, Ordained Elder and Church Treasurer for 27 years, Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, Knife and Fork Club, American Legion, all of Pratt, U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors: widow, of the home; nephew, Darrell H. Blachly, Fort Morgan, Colo.; neice, Idolia Berry, Scandia.
Interment service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt; the Rev. Alfred J. Gerdel Jr. Memorial service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Memorials to the church or Gifts and Bequests Committee of Pratt Regonal Medical Center in care of Ayres-Calbeck Mortuary, Pratt.
