Born in York, Tom was the son of the late Frederick R. and Mary R. (Finnegan) Anthony. He was a graduate of York Catholic, class of 1970. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and member of the Hanover AM Vets Post 22.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2018 at St. Mary's Church, 309 S. George St., York with the Rev. Jonathan P. Sawicki as celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass. Burial with military rites presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery.
Mr. Anthony is survived by eight siblings, John Anthony (Josephine) of York, Joseph Anthony (Beth) of MI, Frederick Anthony (Prima) of York, Patricia Keintz of York, Dennis Anthony of GA, James Anthony (Cherie) of Enola, Susan Waddell (Jeff) of New Oxford and Kathryn Bentzel (Tim) of York; numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a brother, Philip Anthony.
