Funeral from the Lee Funeral Home, Washington, D.C., Monday morning at 9 o'clock, thence to St. Theresa's Church, Washington, D.C., where a solemn requiem high mass will be sung at 9:30.
Friends and relatives may call at the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2012 Broadway, Watervliet, Tuesday afternoon and evening. Interment Wednesday morning.

Funeral Rites Held At Washington, D.C., For Roland Alston
More than 180 newspaper men and women in Washington, D.C., attended the funeral rites this morning of Roland Alston, former member of the editorial staff of The Record Newspapers and a member of the board of editors of the Bureau of National Affairs.
The Solemn Requiem Mass was celebrated at St. Theresa's Church in Washington.
Members of the National Press Club acted as honorary bearers and as pall bearers.
The body will be brought tonight to Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet. Burial will take place Wednesday morning at Watervliet.

Rites Held For Mr. Alston
Committal services were held this morning for Roland Alston, of Washington, D.C., native of Watervliet and a former member of The Record Newspapers' editorial staff who died Friday at George Washington University Hospital, that city, following a long illness. A Solemn Requiem Mass was celebrated at St. Teresa's Church, Washington, Monday.
The services today were held from the Parker Bros. Memorial 2013 Broadway, Watervliet, with Rev. George T. Quinlivan, pastor of Sacred Heart of Mary Church, officiating.
Bearers included George J. Levey, Alton T. Sliter, William W. Kirving, William E. McHale, Emile A. Catrieala and Francis D. Sullivan.
Interment was in St. Agnes' Cemetery, Menands, where Father Quinilvan officiated at the grave.
Delegations visiting the funeral home last night included employees of the Watervliet Post Office, The Record Newspapers, Albany Times Union and Knickerbocker News.
