Bernice Lucille Dobbs, age 86, passed from this life to her heavenly home April 5, 2007.
Mrs. Dobbs was born April 6, 1920 in Bennington, Oklahoma to Lee Andrew and Mary Jewel (Blundell) McDonald. Bernice married Luther "Luke" Dobbs in January 1939. Luke preceeded her home on October 11, 2004.
Mrs. Dobbs is survived by her son, Charles Dobbs and wife, Joy, of Denison, Tx; daugher, Mary Coburn and husband Ron of Mansfield, Tx; daughter Linda Williams of Denison, Tx; and daughter Judy Dumas of Denison, Tx...Eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; sisters - Iva Mae Johnson and Reba Villa both of Tucson, AZ. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Mary McDonald; beloved husband Luther "Luke" Dobbs, and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Monday, April 9, 2007 at Truth Tabernacle Church with Pastor David Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Tx. Family visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 7. 2007 at Fisher Funeral Home, Denison, Tx.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandson, Mike Dobbs, Tate Dobbs, David Norris, Dustin Dumas, Jarrod Milner and Garrett Medlin.
