JOHN D. EPPERSON
Funeral services for John David Epperson were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 at Little Zion Church near Atlanta, conducted by the Rev. Mort Craig of St. Joseph, assisted by Elder S.L. Pettus of Macon.
Mr. Epperson was eighty-five years old. He died Saturday afternoon at 3:30 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Roy Saunderland six miles west of Atlanta where he was spending the summer.
Mrs. James Enyart, wife of County Treasurer Enyart, is a daughter. Since the death of Mrs. Epperson eight years ago, Mr. Epperson had made his home with his daughters, spending the winter months with Mrs. Enyart and the summer months with Mrs. Sunderland.
Burial was made in the family lot at Steele cemetery.
Deceased was a son of John B. and Lucy Bunch Epperson and was born in Putnam County, near Unionville.
He is survived by two daughers, mentioned, also two brothers, Lon and Gilbert Epperson of near Altanta. A brother, William O. Epperson passed away January 9.
