Mrs. Eunice Louise Blackwell Carter, 91, died Sunday, March 18, 2018, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 20, at First Baptist Church of Great Falls with Rev. Thurmond Johnson and Hospice Chaplain Sam Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday at First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Carter was born April 16, 1926 in Great Falls, SC and was a daughter of the late Carl Blackwell and Louise Brunson Blackwell. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and was a former cafeteria manager of Great Falls Schools and Camp Springs Cafeteria. Mrs. Carter was also a former kindergarten assistant. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Great Falls.
She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn C. Powers (Butch) of Great Falls; one sister, Frances Temple of Great Falls; one brother, Bobby Blackwell of Blackstock; one grandson, Jimmy Carter (Wanda) of Conway; and one great granddaughter, Haleigh Carter of Aynor. Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Mutt Carter.
