DARTMOUTH -- Robert Aquila Adams, 71, of Dartmouth, formerly of Raynham, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, at Brandon Woods after suffering from cancer for several months. He was the widower of Patricia Ann (Murphy) Adams.
Born in Fairhaven, he was the son of the late Aquila W. and Adelaide J. (Brownell) Adams.
He graduated from Thayer Academy.
Mr. Adams was a popular Electrolux salesman for many years, and after retiring was sales manager at Gasoline Alley in Raynham. He retired as a major in the Army Reserve in 1983 and was a longtime member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
He liked to sail and ski.
Survivors include many close friends.
He was the brother of the late William Adams.
