Mary Elizabeth Turbeville, 81, of Cheyenne, died Friday, March 16, 2018.

She was born January 23, 1937 in Glasgow, Scotland, a daughter of William and Margaret (Gronbech) Wood. Mary was married to Gene Turbeville on August 30, 1958 in Aylesbury, England. They made Cheyenne their home in 1971 after living in various locations as a military wife.

Mary was a member of the British Wives Club. She enjoyed bingo, , knitting and reading.

Survivors include her husband, Gene Turbeville; two sons, Lance E. (Johnnie Foster) Turbeville; Darryl W. (Anne McKernan) Turbeville; two daughters, Sherry L. (Arthur) Makekau; Samantha L. Groendal; five grandchildren, Heather (Ray), Allison, Thomas (Jenna),; Jaquelyn(Austin) , Austin, seven great-grandchildren, Devyn, Zadyn, Romyn, Brooklyn, Ella, Adam and Kyla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William Wood; and two sisters, Isabel Walker and Ellen Rich.
