David Navarro Bradham, 82, of Ormond Beach, FL and formerly of Wallace, NC left this earthly life for his eternal rest on Friday, March 16, 2018 from Indigo Palms Assisted Living Facility in Daytona Beach, FL.

He was born October 14, 1935 in Duplin County, NC and was the son of the late Jodia Carr and RobertAnn Whaley Bradham. He was also predeceased by his wife, JoAnn Stafford Bradham; his son, Roger Glenn Bradham; siblings, James L. Bradham, William M. Bradham, Mary Lou Walker, Josephine Lapacka, Hazel Schieve and Helen Pomakis.

Mr. Bradham proudly served his country in US Navy. He was a member of Poston Baptist Church where he served as Deacon for a number of years.

Surviving are his children, David Michael “Mike” Bradham and wife, Peg, Julie Bradham Harper and Kathy Lynn Bradham, all of Ormond Beach, FL and Timothy Lane Bradham and wife, Sandra of Helena, MT. David is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; his sister, Lucille Dagenhardt and husband, Robert C. “Bobby” of Wilmington and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

David was a devoted father and caring grandfather who loved his family dearly.
He found great joy in the simplest of things, but his greatest joy was family. Being a people person, David enjoyed spending time talking and conversing with others. During the years, he enjoyed building wooden furniture, such as swings, arbors and picnic tables. He built picnic tables for the park in the Northeast Community a few years ago. Most of his life, he was an over the road truck driver who enjoyed traveling to different parts of the US. David will surely be missed but treasured memories of him will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel with the Reverend Chris Jarman officiating.

Burial will be at Riverview Memorial Park in Watha.
