Joseph "Pepa" Willoughby, 85, of Youngtown, AZ, passed away on April 4, 2007. He was born in Bronx, NY on November 10, 1921. Joe married Mildred Kerstin shortly before joining the Army in 1942. He was employed by ITT, NJ until his retirement in 1988. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred, his mother Anna Lewis and step-father, Reggie Lewis. He is survived by his only son Robert and daughter-in-law Diana; grandsons, Bobby (Kim) and Keith (Sheri); great granddaughter, Logan Rae, who always seemed to bring a gleam to his eye, and his faithful companion, Penny. Joe was always one to get more pleasure in giving than receiving through his many charitable contributions to people and animal organizations. His love for animals has been instilled in all that knew and loved him. He will be greatly missed and forever etched in our hearts. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, at 11 am at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd, Peoria, with visitation one hour prior. Committal service will follow at 12:30 pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Arizona Humane Society.
