Dallas- Hector R. Abundiz, 68, died Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Select Specialty Hospital, surrounded by his loving wife. Hector was born on September 18, 1949 to Jose Federico Abundis and Herlinda Abundis. He met and married the love of his life Ofelia Abundiz. They were happily married for 29 years. He is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Herlinda Abundis. He is survived by his wife Ofelia Abundiz, six brothers and two sisters; Federico Abundiz, Maria Guerrero, Jose R. Abundiz, Humberto Abundis, Ezequiel Abundis, Janie Hernandez, Alejandro Abundiz. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home Chapel on Friday March 23, 2018 from 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Queen of Peace Church on Saturday March 24, 2018 at 10:00 am burial to proceed to Restlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements under the direction of Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, La Feria, TX.
