Lillie R. Abraham died Friday, March 11, 2005, at her home. She was 90. A native and lifelong resident of Vicksburg, she was the daughter of the late Elias and Helen Mack Abraham. She enjoyed church work, family activities, singing and listening to music, playing canasta and traveling. Miss Abraham was a member of the Cedars Ladies Club and the Eastern Star and was a lifelong member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, where she was active in the choir, Sunday school and Women of St. George. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Mack and Minnie Nader; brothers, Waddy Abraham, Abe Abraham and Spero Abraham; a niece, Dr. Jeanne Mack Gilley; a nephew, Jimmy Abraham; and her great-nephew, George Ronald Abraham II. Survivors include a brother, George E. Abraham of Vicksburg, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church with the Rev. John Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home.
