d/o John Talbot Harrison (1785–1863) & Jane Johannah Dumont (nee Littell) Harrison (1830–1906).

She was born in Northfield, a town in Richmond County, New York. It was incorporated in 1788 as one of the four original towns of Staten Island. It was dissolved in 1898 upon consolidation into the City of New York.

She was found residing there in the 1855 NY State census dated June 5, 1885, at age 10 months, with the family of Joseph and Mary E. Lyons ,as well as, her parents in the 1860 census, dated July 25, 1860, at age 6 years. Her date of birth is correct.

Eliza Theodosia lived in East Orange from 1896 until her death on April 20, 1942 in East Orange General Hospital. She was a member of the Woman's Club of Orange, a member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Orange, and a member of the New Jersey Historical Society. She is also buried in the Harrison family plot on Staten Island.
