A lifelong Toledo resident, he was an employee of the maintenance department of the old National Supply company for 40 years until his retirement in 1957.
Surviving at the time of his death were brothers. Ernest and Robert, both of Toledo, and sisters, Rose Brown, Mrs. Frieda Nelson, Mrs. Edith Kehle, and Mrs. Mary Jane St. Aubin, all of Toledo, and Mrs. Edna Betty Wyrick of Greensboro, N.C.
The body lay in state at the H.H. Birkenkamp Mortuary, Trilby, that evening after 7 p.m. Services were held Monday at 3 p.m. with burial in Ottawa Hill Memorial Park.
