Mr. Berry fell from a ladder, alighting on his head and sustained a fractured skull. The accident occurred about 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon and he died at the hospital about an hour and a half later. He did not regain consciousness at any time after receiving the injuries.

Coroner to Investigate.

Coroner Earl Sells, of Anderson, was notified and he will come to Elwood this afternoon to conduct the necessary investigation.

Mr. Berry had resided in Elwood since 1900 and had been employed at the tinplate for several years. He was an energetic and industrious worker and was well liked by his fellow employes. He was a fine citizen and was held in high esteem by his many friends. He was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness church.

Surviving Relatives.

He also leaves three brothers, Murt Berry, of Monticellow, Ind.; Lee Berry of Kokomo, and Perry Berry, of Dayton, O. There are thirteen grandchildren.
