Anna Bell Holt passed away from this world on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. She was 82 years old and in her own words she lived a good life. Throughout her time on this earth she was a loving daughter, a caring sister, a devoted dog owner, a beloved aunt and great aunt, and to all that knew her and loved her, a loyal and compassionate friend. Ann loved life and was always looking for new experiences and new things to learn. She was a long time fan of UK basketball, a book club member, an art student and orchid lover among many other things. Two important loves of her life were her two beloved dogs Liberty and Diamond. Ann will be greatly missed but will live on in our hearts.
Ann was a 1954 graduate of Fredonia High School, Fredonia, Ky. She graduated from UK in 1959 with an accounting degree and received her CPA license. Ann had a long and successful career and helped many people along the way. She was the first woman elected President of the Ky Society of CPA’s and served from 1977-1989.
She was preceded in death by her parents Teddy V. Holt Sr. and Myrtle Mae Goodman Holt of Caldwell Co., Ky., one sister, Patsy Carter of Dover, Tn.
