Professional Football Player. A native of West Milton, Ohio, Brumbaugh played the position of blocking back, defensive block, and quarterback for the National Football League's Chicago Bears from 1930 to 1934, 1936 to 1938, Cleveland Rams in 1937, Brooklyn Dodgers in 1937, and the Chicago Bears in 1937. A graduate of both Ohio State University, and Florida State University, Brumbaugh also served as an Assistant Coach for the Chicago Bears, as a Coach at West Virginia for five years, and as Coach Aid for the Chicago Cardinals and the University of Cincinnati.
