Danville -- James David Elkins, 25, of Danville, died October 29, 1988, near Danville from carbon monoxide poisoning.
He was a timberman.

Services were 2 p.m. Thursday at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, with Rev. Emory Linville officiating. Burial was in Bear Branch Cemetery, Spurlockville.
