Mr. Nitzke was formerly employed 20 years by the Straight Line Engine Company. He was a member of the Liederkranz, the Saengerbund, and the Turn Veraln. He was a communicant of Saint Joseph's (German) Church and a member of its Holy Name Society.
Surviving are two sons, William and Arthur Nitzke; a sister, Mrs. Laura Peters and two brothers, Andrew and Herbert Nitzke.
