He was a retired Master Chief Petty Officer for the U.S. Navy. After retirement from the Navy, he went to work as an engineering technician with the Ranges and Facility branch at the Naval Surface Warfare Center.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Josie Webb and her family, Lori & Wes Morgan, Dallas Morgan, Jaxon Morgan, Dons 2 sons, Bill Billinger and wife, Sheri of Leonardtown, MD, Bryan Billinger and wife, Bethany of Topsham, ME, 3 grandchildren, Michael Billinger, Kristen Billinger, Erin Billinger, sister, Virginia Kinderknecht and husband, Bob, niece, Lisa Cox and husband, Larry and their children, Emily & Ethan, and 2 nephews, Larry Kinderknecht and wife, Heather, and Donnie Kinderknecht.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Those desiring may make a contribution to the Panama City Rescue Mission in memory of Donald Billinger.
