Mary Ann Hancock, 67, of Cuero, passed away Monday March 26, 2018 after her yearlong courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 28, 1950 to the late Cleo and Louise Harvey Marks in Providence, KY.

Mary married the love of her life, James Hancock, May 21, 1966, in Cuero. She loved dancing, playing poker, going to Coushatta, and junking in Warrenton with her family. Mary's truest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Cleo (Pinkie) Marks; and sister, Nancy Marks Hiett.

The visitation will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Barbara Beale officiating.
