Donald Allison

Donald E. Allison, 74, of the Waterford Park Rd., a retired dairy farmer, died Monday at 1:50 p.m. at City Hospital, three hours after being admitted. He was born Aug. 27, 1896, in Hancock County, a son of Enoch E. Allison and Kathrine Mae Yant Allison. He had resided his lifetime in the Chester area and was a member of the Emmanuel Mission, Chester RD 1. He was a trustee of the mission. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ethel Allison, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Helen Grace) Johnson of Midland, Mrs. Chester (Marie) Elliott of Hookstown and Mrs. W. T. (Alliene) Elkins of Miami, Fla.; six sons, Robert D. Allison of Hialeah, Fla., Ray Y. Allison of Rogers RD 1, Dean L. Allison of Jacksonville, Ill., Erret H. Allison and Elbert M. Allison, both of Chester RD, and Myron L. Allison of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two brothers, D. H. Allison of Beaver Falls and Kenneth Allison of New Manchester; a sister, Mrs. Lois Burt of Cleveland, 19 grandchildren, two great - grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Chester Chapel of the Arner Funeral Home by the Rev. Paul Brookes. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery, Chester. Friends may call at the chapel tonight after 7, Wednesday afternoon and night.
