They had five children Diane, Beverly, Stephen, Arnold Joe Jr, and Bruce. They lived much of there married life in Dallas and Austin. They lived in DeSoto for over 20 years. June is survived by three of her children Diane, Joe Jr., and Bruce, 10 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. As a young woman June worked in sales at Neiman Marcus in Dallas. She was also active in community theatre in Austin. She had a keen interest in politics and was a delegate to the Texas State Republican Convention in 1957. She obtained her real estate license after she was 50 years old and sold real estate for Hap Beatty in DeSoto for several years, before retiring to Lookout Mountain, Georgia in 1998. She enjoyed living in the mountains with her son Bruce and their dogs. She loved wathcing the birds and cursing the squirrels who stole their food, gardening on the deck, going to the World's Largest Yard Sale, and adding to her wonderful collection of ruby red glass. She passed away on the Morning of March 3, 2007 at Parkridge Hospital in Chattanooga, Tn with Bruce by her side.
