Eugene F. Kennedy, Jr., FAIA (1904-1986) was an architect at the prominent ecclesiastical architectural firm of Maginnis and Walsh from 1926 to 1941, becoming a senior partner in the firm in 1941, which reorganized that year as Maginnis and Walsh and Kennedy. So constituted, the firm became the architects of the post-World War II buildings on the campus of Emmanuel College in Boston's Fenway, the largest grouping of historic buildings identified to date in Boston that was designed by Maginnis and Walsh and its successor firm. The firm’s other postwar commissions in Boston include the Logan International Airport Chapel (1955) and the Paulist Fathers’ Holy Ghost Chapel, 4-6 Park Street (1956). [Source: K.K.
