Published in the Lockport Union Sun and Journal on Tuesday January 13, 1925:

"The funeral of Carl Alberty was held at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Alberty, 72 Oliver street, Sunday, January 11, 1925 at 2:36 p, m. Rev. George Sweezey officiating. Two solos were sung by Mr. F. J. Washbon. The bearers were three brothers, Irwin H. Alberty, Guy W. Alberty, Thomas W. Alberty and Warren Kerr, a friend of the deceased. The remains were placed in the vault at Cold Springs cemetery."
