Marjorie A. Gillispie
POINT PLEASANT — Marjorie A. (Darst) Gillispie, age 78, of Point Pleasant, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 while at Holzer Senior Care of Gallipolis, Ohio.
Marjorie was born January 18, 1940 in Point Pleasant to the late Franz L. and Opal (Turner) Darst and grew up in Point Pleasant with five brothers and one sister.
Marjorie was a hard working woman that not only raised and cared for her family, but also worked for Rockwell Automotive as an auditor and retired after 25 years of service.
She is survived by three daughters, Darlene (Barry) Porter, Sabrina Leach, and Misty Parsons; one son, Clinton Edward Gillispie; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; five brothers; and a host of family and friends.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
We would like to express our thanks and gratitude to the staff and friends at Holzer Senior Care for the loving care and attention that they provided for Marjorie. They truly are a blessing and provided care that could not have been any better.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Crow-Hussell Funeral and will be Sunday, March 25, 2018 with visitation from noon to 1 p.m., funeral services officiated by Pastor Robert Patterson II beginning at 1 p.m., interment will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens.
