Anderson, Lorene Frances Of Jackson, joined her husband, Larry W. Anderson in Heaven on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the age of 75. She was also preceded in death by her parents and six siblings. She will be remembered by her children, Melinda (Ed) L'Huillier, Mark Anderson, Matthew (Diane) Anderson, Lorrie (Jim) Poulson; grandchildren Brandon L'Huillier, Breanna (Mitchell) Whitaker, Paige Coale, Krystal Anderson, Katey Anderson, and Laylah Poulson; sister, Theresa Dunkin; special family friends, Jackie Anderson and Dennis Gladieux; nieces, nephews, and loving family members. Lorene was one of eight children born to Homer and Myrtle (Lambert) Gateley in Holdenville, Oklahoma on October, 23 1942. She met Larry Anderson in Long Beach, California while he was serving in the Navy. The couple married and relocated to Jackson where they raised a family and she worked as a bus driver for Jackson Intermediate schools for 19 years. Lorene enjoyed many years of bowling and coaching slow pitch softball teams as well as playing card games with her family. According to her wishes, cremation has been selected and she will be laid to rest next to her one true love at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. The family will hold a memorial celebration at a later date.
