Mr. Anthony "Tony" Abbott, age 80 born May 31, 1930 of Dallas, passed away January 19, 2011.
Mr. Abbott retired from Lockheed Martin in 1995 after 20 years. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father and will be deeply missed.
Mr. Abbott is survived by his wife of 56 years Mrs. Rose Abbott, sons Joe Abbott and wife Trisha of Dallas, GA; Anthony Abbott Jr. of Dallas; Jimmy Abbott of Cedartown; daughters Tina Burton of Dallas; Lisa Soto and husband Herman of Oceanside, CA; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2010 at 3:00pm at the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-3pm prior to the service.
