Funeral services for Hugh P. Banister, who died here Thursday morning were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Grant Funeral Home. Rev. Roy Noyes Hillyer officiated. Mrs. Marshall Drew and Mrs. Carl Holman sang, with Mrs. J.M. Kotterman as accompanist. Pallbearers were Murray Petty, John Price, M.J. Holmes, Earl Elley, R.L. Ward and Ed Ellis. Burial was in Riverview cemetery. Mr. Banister had resided here 14 years.
