Russell Andrew Wilfong, 61, and his wife Claire Marie Pittinger Wilfong , 59 along with their son Thomas Andrew Paul Wilfong, 36 of Harman WV, lost their lives in a single vehicle car accident in Elkins, WV. Russell was a son of the late Nellie Bly Wilfong and James Thurman Copen. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thurman Brown "John" Copen. He is survived by his sons, Jamie Lee Wilfong, Russell Thurman Wilfong, Jimmy Joe Copen, Floyd Thomas "Dude" Copen, and sisters, Louise Gertrude Doyle and Linda Lou Slawter Bickel.
