Robert R. Ayers

Robert R. Ayers, 81, of Williamstown, died October 25, 1995, at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

He was born in Parkersburg, a son of the late John Douglas and Edna Mae Reighter Ayers. He was a retired school lunch supervisor for the Wood County School System. He was a member of the Elks, the Valley Rose Society and Christ Memorial Episcopal Church of Williamstown.

Surviving are one son, Robert H. Ayers of Scott Depot; one sister, Betty Swearingen of Lancaster, Pa.; one daughter-in-law, Deborah L. Ayers of Scott Depot; one grandson, Brien Douglas Ayers of Scott Depot; and one granddaughter, Kelly Elizabeth Ayers of Scott Depot.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Elizabeth Ayers; and two brothers.

Services 10 a.m. Saturday, Christ Memorial Episcopal Church, Williamstown, the Rev. Jack Neilson officiating. Burial Riverview Cemetery.
