Bessie, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Porter G. Hemingway, after an illness of only a few days, died Friday afternoon at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Hemingway, aged 11 months, 18 days. The funeral services were held at the residence of J. L. Stout, Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. B. C. Gillis, largely attended by many sympathizing friends and relatives. Little Bessie was a healthy, robust child and the immediate cause of her death was spasms, caused by cutting teeth. The parents have the condolence of their many friends in the sad bereavement. They also desire, through the columns of the Republican, to thank the many kind friends who offered assistance and sympathy.
