CALLED BY DEATH

John Aarts died at his home, two miles from the city on Fox Lake road, Sunday afternoon, May 29, 1921, at an age of 70 years, 11 months and 17 days.

He was a native of Holland, coming to America nineteen years ago, since which time he has made his home in this vicinity.

Surviving are his wife, a son, Joe Aarts, at home; and three daugters, Mrs. Ed Van Buren, Mrs. Jake Konings and Mrs. John Van Loo, all living in this community.

Funeral services were held from the home Wednesday at 1:30 and Reformed church in the city at 2:00 o'clock. Rev. Wm. Waalvoord officiated and interment was in Forest Mound.
