Mrs. Gallett, a native of Orlando, Fla., was a homemaker. She was past president of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 649. She was a member of Xi Gamma Omicron, American Legion Auxiliary Post 178, Beta Sigma Phi and Europe Beta Sigma Phi, Shape, Belgium. She was co-founder of Preceptor Theta, where she held all offices. She was a member of the Westside Christian Church, where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the adult church Sunday school class.
The family said, ''She was a faithful church member.''
Survivors include her husband, Earl F. Gallett; a stepson, Eric W. Gallett, Portsmouth, Va.; a stepdaughter, Natasha A. Gallett, Manchester Center, Vt.; her parents, William and Dolores Willox, Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Cathy Twist, Tampa; and four grandchildren.
