Shreveport, LA - Funeral services for Aletha L. Williams, 88, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Brother Woody Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery.
Aletha was born April 15, 1929 in Holliday, TX to Ottis and Edna Lloyd and passed away on April 1, 2018 in Shreveport. She was a great mother, grandmother, and house wife.
Aletha was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James H. Williams. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gary Williams and wife Charlene and Jeanie Janay O'Neal and husband DuWayne; grandchildren, Sharla Wilkerson, Kristi White and husband Alan, Kevin Williams, and Torrey O'Neal and wife Katie; great-grandchildren, Sofia Wilkerson, Nikala White, Eden White, and Ava O'Neal; and sister-in-law, June Lloyd.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Williams, Torrey O'Neal, Randy Spillers, Leonard Koglin, Randy Morgan, and DuWayne O'Neal.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Carlisle and staff at Christus Highland and Dr. Gadis and staff at Garden Park.
