He was a resident and native of Bayou Pigeon, retired welder/pipefitter and crawfish manager. He loved to fish, hunt, never met a stranger and was always ready to help people. He always felt at home at the crawfish pond.
Visitation will be at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine on Thursday, April 5th from 9am until 12:30pm, Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 1pm celebrated by Rev. Joe Camilleri. Interment in Grace Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Hebert Sauce; daughter and son in law Holly and Chad Besse; granddaughter, his “Lil Shuggie” Catherine Besse; uncle Murphy Blanchard and many cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents Edward “Bill” and Agnes Blanchard Sauce. Pallbearers will be Andrew, Roland, Irvin, Bobby, Adam, Cleveland “Jr” Blanchard.
