Paul Gordon Carter, 72, of Lucky Debonair Drive, died at 1:48 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Golden Living Center in Evansville, Ind. of natural causes.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Buddy Slaughter officiating.

Burial will be at Cave Spring Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until the service time Friday at the funeral home.

A native of Indianapolis, he was born March 19, 1946, the son of the late Luther Edward and Gertrude Saulter Carter. He was a member of Christ Temple and worked in maintenance at General Motors.

Survivors include his daughter, Janina Carter, Hopkinsville; his stepdaughter, Francesca Lewis, Hopkinsville; his siblings, Luther Carter and Jewel Jennings, both of Indianapolis and Norma (Billy) Woods, Starkville, Miss.; and five grandchildren.
