Mr. Winslow was born in North Carolina. He retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard in 1967 after 27 years. He was the widower of Maude Lee Buttler Winslow and a member of Calvary Temple Baptist Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include two daughters, Joan Winslow Tatem of Chesapeake and Beverly Ann Winslow Boyce of Virginia Beach; a son, Myron St. E. Winslow, Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Keith H. Davey and the Rev. Daniel K. Davey. The family will be at Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday. The family will also be receiving friends at 705 Hassell Drive in Chesapeake after the service.
