Thomas was a United States Army veteran. He was in the grocery business all of his professional career. He enjoyed classic cars, loved traveling with his family and was an avid sports fan. Thomas attended the Journey Church International in Lee’s Summit. His cherished hobbies included woodworking, working in his yard and landscaping.
Thomas was preceded in death by a grandson, Alexander Huber. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Carla, children, Timothy (Mary), Michael (Denita), Shelly, Scott, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Services are 11 am Wednesday April 11 at Meyers Northland Chapel, Parkville, Mo. Visitation is 10-11 am. Burial in East Slope Cemetery.
