He resided in Kings County, New York prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on October 7, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed in the building of aircraft and also as Single, without dependents.

C-47A #42-93767 took off, with a crew of 4 & 2 passengers, from Moran Air Field, India on a mission to Myitkyina, Burma (Myanmar). They were later to have been found after crashing near Warazup, Burma. All on board the C-47 were killed.

Morris died in the "Line Of Duty" in this crash during the war.

He is interred somewhere in New York.
