Warren L. Musselman, 70, of rural LaFayette, IL passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling, IL. at 6:25 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018.

He was born on January 4, 1948 in Kewanee, IL the son of Henry and Hildagard (Theobolt)
Musselman. Together happily since 1985 he married Dorothy A. King on Sept. 9, 1997 in their rural Lafayette home; she survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Chad (Melissa) Musselman of Toulon, IL, Brian (Heather) Musselman of Rock Falls, IL, and Jeff (Amanda) King of rural Toulon, IL; ten grandchildren; two brothers, Ray Musselman of Woodhull, IL and Paul (Valli) Musselman of Douglas, WY; and two nieces, a nephew and their children. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, and one nephew.

Warren graduated from LaFayette High School with the class of 1966. He was raised on the farm so it was natural to become a farmer himself. While farming, he also worked various occupations including Better Built in Galva, Butler in Galesburg, the coal mine in Wyoming, IL for 13 years as a welder. Later, he worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator in southern Illinois and he drove semis making deliveries to every state except Maine during his lifetime. Warren was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Family was his passion and it showed in everything he did. His hobbies were collecting Minneapolis Moline tractors and equipment, attending various M&M tractor conventions, and going to auctions.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Evergreen Memory Gardens in Kewanee. Rev. Timothy Delaney will officiate. Haskell-Hott Funeral Homes in Toulon is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to LaFayette First Responders in care of LaFayette Fire Dept., or the
Rock River Hospice Home in Sterling, IL.
