Berniece Mae DeWitt, 90, of Kokomo, passed away April 11, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital, Kokomo. Born August 11, 1927 in Kokomo, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Massey and Bertie (Walters) Massey.
She was a homemaker and an active member of Southside Apostolic Church. She enjoyed collecting all types of things and spending time with her friends from church. Survivors include three sons Robert (Linda) Leicht of Kokomo, Edward (Joyce) Addison of Kokomo, Roger (Patty) Addison of Kokomo; one daughter Linda Ray of Arkansas; one step-son Tom (Mazie) Addison of Kokomo; one step-daughter Marilyn Boyd of Tipton. There are also 10 grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, several step great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, several step great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister Janiece Faye Addison, two brothers Harold Massey and Bob Massey; one son-in-law Ernie Ray, and one step son-in-law Joseph Boyd.
Funeral services
April 16, 2018 at Southside Apostolic Church, 1716 E. Firmin Street, Kokomo. Pastor Keith Mosier will officiate. Burial will follow in Galveston Cemetery. The family will receive friends
