Lois L. Christlieb, age 88 of Toledo died peacefully Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Elizabeth Scott Community with her family by her side. Lois was born in Toledo to Carl F. and Esther H. (Ross) Ahleman on November 7, 1929. After graduating high school, Lois married Donald Christlieb in Angola, Indiana on November 21, 1949 and together they raised 5 children. Lois was a member of Providence Lutheran Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post #646 in Holland. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Carol (Tony) Sarvo, Cathy (David) Poulos, Christine (Steve) Pickett, Chris (Lauren) Christlieb and Craig (Paula) Christlieb; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Esther; husband, Donald; sisters, Thelma Siewert and Barbara Hill as well as her brother, Jack Ahleman.

Friends will be received on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 2-8 PM at Neville Shank Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, OH (419-865-8879) where her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Springfield Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Lois’ name to Providence Lutheran Church, 8131 Airport Hwy, Holland, OH 43528.
