A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 1997, in the Chapel of Portland Memorial Funeral Home for Cecil J. Wolf, who died Dec. 28, 1996, in his son's home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, at age 82.

Mr. Wolf was born Nov. 30, 1914, in Deerfield, Kan. He moved with his family to Pocatello, Idaho, and then moved to Portland. where He graduated from Benson High School and attended Benke-Walker Business College. He sold musical intruments wholesale for L.D. Heater Music, Co., Chicago Music and Norland Music Co.companies. He retired from the latter in 1980. He married Irene Burns in 1940; she died in 1994.

Survivors include his sons, Thomas of Milwaukie and James of Idaho Falls; daughters, Kathleen Conwell of Oregon City and Susan of Portland; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
