Funeral services for Albert C. Michels, 55, 1039 W. Main St., Olney, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home, with Rev. R. E. Dowden officiating.

Interment will be in Johnson Cemetery in Wayne County. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, with Masonic services by Noble Lodge 362, AF & A M, at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Olney veterans organizations will render military graveside rites.

Mr. Michels died Wednesday morning at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, Ind.

He was born in Noble, son of Ora Michels and Ethelda Rule Michels. In 1940 he married Verdene Stevens.

He had recently been employed at the AMF plant in Olney. A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of Richland Post 30, American Legion, Olney Post 4226, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Noble Lodge AF & AM.

Surviving are his ex-wife, Verdene; five children, Kenneth Michels, Noble, Mrs Alberta McDonald, Burley, Idaho, Mrs. Kathy Robinson, Mrs. Nancy Stanley and Mrs. Debbie Fletcher all of Olney; 13 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mary Rusk, Noble; Emery Michels, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Eva Van Blaricum and Mrs. Chloe Underwood both of Olney and Lee Otis Michels, Lincoln.
