Mrs. St. Clair Died Sunday Afternoon

Mrs. Estella Wills St. Clair

Following an illness of considerable duration, death came yesterday afternoon at Monmouth Hospital to Mrs. Estelle St. Clair. She had been under treatment there for about five weeks.
Mrs. St. Clair was a native of Potsdam, New York, and had been a resident of Monmouth for many years.

Her husband George A. St. Clair, died in 1915, and she is survived by three children, W.E. St. Clair of Monmouth, Mrs. Harold White of Burlington, Iowa, and Mrs. L.R. McVey of Chicago.


Two daughters preceded her in death, Mrs. H.V. McClellan of Seattle, Washington and Mrs.W.L. McCrory of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There are ten grandchildren. Mrs. Bertha Jeffrey of Monmouth is a sister.


Mrs. St. Clair was a member of the Second United Presbyterian Church and shared in activities of the congregation so long as her health permitted. She was a member of the Fortnightly and New Century clubs.


Funeral services will be held at the Lugg Memorial Chapel tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock and interment will be in the family lot in Monmouth Cemetery.


The Rev. Jennings Reld of the Second United Presbyterian Church will be in charge.
